Because my teacher for Middle English is somewhat demented, she assigned the class excerpts from John Lydgate's Troy Book.

This man does *not* know when to shut up, and he totally soiled some of my favorite parts of the Iliad.

I was once again making comments about the sizable book storage space existing within my colon. This led Burg to say, "You must have an impressive colon."

I responded: "You could even say I have a... semi-colon."

We laughed and giggled for a while. Then we decided to save this for... posterity.

We have to put this behind us.

How the hell does one *accidentally* write an ecofeminist reading of a short story?

Because I want to prevent it from ever happening again.  

Deconstruction.

I hate it. From what I've learned, the steps seem to be:

1) What is the work about?
2) Convince us the opposite.
3) Now say the work makes no sense.
